November already?! Where has the time gone? The holidays will be here before we know it. This year The Tongue & Groove Store is working in conjunction with the Arrowhead Builder’s Association to build the spirit of giving by helping out local Duluth charity, Life House. Life House provides a safe harbor for enhancing the lives of local at-risk youth ages 14-20. They offer services such as food, shelter, basic health care, life skills development, and one-on-one support services in safe housing, education, employment and positive health. They focus on providing area youth with the right tools to grow and overcome obstacles versus simply offering them a handout.
Life House gives kids the chance to succeed when no one else would. Along with the Arrowhead Builder’s Association, The Tongue & Groove Store feels very strongly about giving back to our community, what better way than to invest in our youth. Small Needs: Socks, Hoodies, Warm Clothes, Deoderant, Tampons, Diapers size 4-5, First Aid Kits
Large Needs: 3 piece Matching Sofa, 8 Matching Bar Stools or Higher Chairs
You may drop off donations at The Tongue & Groove Store between now and 11/29 at which time they will be delivered to Life House.
